Yonder Wall
Yonder Wall were formed in late 2008 in Hobart by Phil Grinham, guitar/vocals, Harry Harkus, bass, and Chopper Fehlberg, drums. The original lineup featured Hannah Lesser on vocals and harp but after 18 months she left to go travelling. Harry, Choppa and Phil then joined up with Emily Barwick to establish the current line up. In 2009 the band recorded a demo of Chicago blues and last year an all original CD entitled Deep Red. This album will be launched at Blues Club on April 5th. Yonder Wall have played shows at both Launceston and Hobart Blues clubs as well as the Forth Valley Blues Festival. A trip to South Australia is in the works for later in the year.
